Well, I suppose another post in less than a week is not too bad. In spite of Misery Mistress's latest obsession - soup.

She is making soup every day, which is time spent when she could be writing up MY blog. But on the other hand, I get soup with my biscuits, so it is not all bad.

So far I have had vichyssoise, orange and tomato, and today's will be garbanzo, fresh broad beans and fresh peas with kale.

Anyone who is remotely interested in her soup tales will have to look for them on her numerous blogs as I can't bothered to do the clicky linky things. Soup belongs in my dish and that is all I am interested in.

I have had my blog invaded with photos of flowers, boats, birds and even cats. I am definitely putting a firm PippaPaw down to pictures of soup, unless I am eating it of course.

Now, I would also like to point out that there were some rather clever comments on my last post.

George suggested I might be practising my piano notes with my left paw. I thought that was decidedly witty and very arty. Thank you George.

Col. sam asta-fari joe h. pinkerton peabody, esq said that I was posing for my next movie. Which reminds me, Misery needs to update the movie stuff now that we are swinging into autumn after our summer vacation. Although she is always on vacation.

Randi pointed out that I was well on my way to becoming a doga guru with my clever pose. Thank you Randi - you were right too - I hadn't even realised that. I have done it again a few more times though to practise.

Huskee and Hershey asked if I wanted to share my pizza. No.

Oooooooonie said that my paw position is from all my work typing. Hmm, I would like to think it was, but I'm not so sure about that.

So here are today's pics. They look rather silly to me. I don't know why I have got my head on the chair rail, or even moreso, why I let Misery take a picture of me like that.

Yummy Soup! Love it...makes me drool. I can relate on hiding your eyes like that from the light. I do that too - I'm always burying my head into something while I'm sleeping.

Luv ya Pippa!

Ha ha ha ha ha! Ooooooh Pipparoonie you have made me laff out loud like a big laffing out loud dog this morning.

Those photos of you are so funny!

I think perhaps you are checking the chair rail is secure enough for Misery to sit on. As Misery seems to spend a great deal of time sitting, it would only be wise to make sure she was safe.

Sitting and souping, quite a nice occupation really.

Still laffing out louderoonie. You crack me up with your pictures, totally.

oh and thank you for the mention in your post. I will get She Who Must Never Be Obeyed to check out the souperooonie recipes, pronto.

Are you resting your head on the chair rail? Didn't sound comfortable to me but you looked rested.

Oh Pippa, that last photo is beautiful! Looks like a comfy position!
We've never tried soup but now that things are starting to cool down weather wise we don't see why we can't have some.

Pippa, Sleeping with your head on the rail demonstrates quite a high level of skill. Many dogs would not be capable of even thinking about sleeping in that position, let alone accomplishing it. You are a master.

Hello Dear Darling Pippa...I left a flower for you mamma on my sense in mucking up your bloggy with silly pink hibiscus...

Oh...I think that first pic of you with your tongue just slying poking out is VERY alluring..You are such a tease, Mr. Pippa...

My mom/secretary as been eating soup too..but she is lazy & just opens up a can & then dumps a bunch of chopped veggies in & calls it a "cooked" dinner...but she never give me any...stupid ...

keep practicing your doga...maybe we can practice together...
love & licks,

Ah Pippa, you do look elegant!! (well in the 1st & last picture) Misery needs a little bark in the ear for taking less elegant shots!
What Movie are you doing - I love the movies BOL

Pippa, you are finding the weirdest spots to sleep! Don't stay in those positions too long or you might get stuck!

You look like you have welded yourself to that table. Next time, try glueing yourself to the stove: it will be easier to get soup there.

PS- We made corn chowder this weekend. Yummmm . . .
