Just another new enterprise

Poor me. Pippa of the abandoned Pippadogblog.

But here I am at last - making what is beginning to be my once a month appearance.

However, I think you should all know that in my absence I have taken up a new career.

Yes. Pippa the Painter and Decorator. After the success of supervising the repainting of my finca terrace, I decided it was time to organise a repaint of my Gibkennelflat.

My nice clean finca

I made sure Master got out all his nice dust sheets for me to lie on and supervise. Shazam! It was done in two shakes of a Pippadog's tail. It was hard work mind, keeping a sleepy eye on Master to make sure he didn't slack.

Working hard

Laughing - they are so useless

Getting rather tired with my hard work - notice all those buckets and tins I have to keep an eye on too?

I think we all need a rest. I need a rest anyway.

Barking my orders

My clean curtains

In charge

A little smile

Just me

And my other adventure of note was a rather neat little escape the other day. Our neighbour had come across to ask for some help with his water heater (Pippa the Plumber coming up next perhaps) and so I wandered onto the landing when he called me to say hello.

Naturally after the cursory greetings I bounded down the stairs to see if the front door was open and then I could chase some cats. But it wasn't. So my neighbour found me sitting by the door waiting for someone to open it and I had to go back upstairs to my kennelflat. It seems I may not be allowed to socialise with my neighbours on the landing again.

Always nice to hear about your adventures--even if it is just once a month! Sorry about the new no-socializing rule...but great job on the painting!

AWWW MY DEAR DARLING PIPPADOGGIE...

Oh how I miss you! My mom/secretary has been HORRIBLE at keeping up my blog & helping me visit friends...perhaps your mistress & my mom have contracted the same lazy sickness? Anyway..In my boredom I've been relandscaping our backyard...no one asked me to, but I've taken it upon myself to have a new career as well...

Maybe we should start our own international company...you can supervise the interior design & I'll make a mess outdoors...

Love & Licks,
Randi

Supervising humans is hard work. isn't it? I have watched over my Mom painting gramma's house and my godmother's kitchen. The hardest part is explaining to them that I can't supervise properly from the hall. Glad you're doing well, Pippa.

Wuufs, Pippa. Trying to barks again here.
You've done a beautifuls job in both supervising and color coordinations. And the plumbing sideline may suit you too.

I wish I could bark more on my blog too but you know how peeps are. Facebooks and Twitters are taking lots of times away from my blog. And now with farming and a zoo, sD is way too busys.

Hope you can get your peeps redirected to helping you on your blog.

Keep up the good works.

My darling Pippadog, how I have missed you! It is very difficult to supervise these humans while they are decorating. Our mom sure has done this on several occasions and I have been needed to make sure things go smoothly - only to be paid in getting paint on my lovely tail or some other tragedy. I hope you got some toast or pizza as payment.

Love always, Your Guinness Grrl

Your humans must be very grateful for your help with their work. We hope they pay you well.

As for the escape, Pippa, please be careful, you never know what lurks outside that closed front door.

Helloooooooooooo! Pipparoonie! My dearest sweet handsome one.

I think you are a very good supervisor, these humans, they need constant surveillance when they are working.

And paint pots etc have a nasty habit of being tripped over and spilling everywhere (not talking from any form of experience.....;0D ) so this was a job well done.

As for the escape and the possibility of cat chasing, I have to say my pulse quickened at your bravery.

And I am sad you were unable to complete your mission.

Life is not fair is it?

Yes, I am back. My J is a terrible person, writes posts saying we are going away, then a month later we come back with a vengeance.

"Sigh", it must be the weather getting more wintry or something which has urged her back on here!

Hi Pippa,
Good job... supervising is hard work!

Hoomans are bound to slack if we're not watching over them. You should get paid for doing that!

Hi Pippa. Thanks for sniffing around my place.
How come our peeps are doing other stuffs instead of working on our blogs? Maybe our supervising has been misguided. Hmm...

Wuufs!

Great pictures! Looks like you did a lot of hard work; supervising humans is tough, huh? They would be lost without us! :)
