Mistress, answers, ecards

I am a sad Pippadog. Look my blog hasn't been written up for a week. Pooh. And hey, where has my tail gone on that photo? First I am headless and now I am tailless.

And I am worried about mistress too. Some time ago I tried to be Dr PippaFreud the pyschoanalyst dog.

I wasn't very good at it. I made a mess of analysing mistress's behaviour. However I am going to have another go.

For two days this week she has done cleaning stuffs in the morning. On Monday she filled a bucket with water, and cleaned the window frames 'cos they get water drops overnight. Then she cleaned the wardrobe, swept the floor, moved my sofa and retrieved lots of PippaFur, then she mopped the floor. I stayed quietly on my sofa (it was nice to be pushed around on it I must say), and I waited for the poorliness attack to finish.

Then she did more or less the same thing yesterday. Now once I can understand. She wakes up feeling cranky and does these out-of-character activities two or three times a year. But two days in a row? And she has even cleaned my Appletop, so we can see the screen properly.

It's my view that this 'flu thing she had has left her with After Effects. Why else would she clean? It takes her all morning to do the washing up and she still leaves the pans for master. She is a big believer in "No-one ever died saying I wish I had spent more time at the office." But she also believes "No-one ever died saying I wish I had spent more time cleaning."

Normally she merrily writes up all our blogs, and then we visit my pals, and then I have a snooze and she surfs a few forums. Anything really to put off the cleaning. We will see how long this lasts.

Thank you to every dog who answered my poll. As the results are pretty much half and half, I have decided to leave it as it is for now. After all, I can't even get it written up so what chance have I got of getting it redesigned?

Now, I need to answer some questions. First to Roxie, I dreamed about you on this post. Maybe you missed it, or maybe you don't think I wrote enough. But I always include you when I write about my list of girlfriends. I will write about you again though in a few posts time as I always try to keep my girlfriends happy.

Eddie N Peaches N Bella asked about tickly toes. Normally when I do shake-a-paw with master, we count to five, sometimes ten, then he tickles under my toes. It is very nice, I like it lots.

Jake of Florida asked if I jump into laps. No, although I am happy to walk over mistress and lie on her legs and things like that.

Bama asked how I tell master and mistress I love them if I don't do kisses. Well, I don't love mistress so that is an easy one. Hehe. Master knows I love him, I bound around in the morning and roo roo to show my appreciation of him getting up when I tell him, I sit very close to him at toast time, and lift my paw lots and chomp my toast nicely, and then I go lie peaceably on my sofa and smile at him, and when mistress is being stupid, master and I exchange laughies. I think that is enough. Oh, and of course, I let him do tickly toes with me as a top privilege.

A few of you have said you wanted to hear the rest of My Story. Some of you already know it, so I will just post up the links to My story (1) and My story (2). Don't worry they are not long stories.

And here is a tiny bit more, About me.

When I wrote my story up, pals asked me about the other dogs in the story, so I wrote about Prince here. Mistress still can't read it without crying though. I have just realised I never did Paddy's story, so I will write a little bit later about Paddy and Ben because mistress can now scan some old piccies in for me.

So I hope that's answered everydog's questions.

Thank you very much for all the ecards I have received so far - they are all brilly and all very different. In mistress's favour, she has actually started to mess about and make mine. By the way we don't do Microsoft, so I will be sending a jpeg image, I hope you will all be able to see that (I've not been able to open a couple of ecards :(. As I have already had one request for my address to swap snail mail cards, I should add that I am happy to do that with any pup who visits my blog. Although I can't guarantee when you will get it. Just contact mistress or me at the email on the DWB list.

Now I promised Tasha and Eva that I would dream about them as we have been having a few misunderstandings with our barks. So, my beautiful furry fluffy Belgian Shepherd girlfriends, I am all curled up on my sofa and dreaming about you both.

My mom does that cleaning stuffs like your mom. Usually our house is the way I like it and then she will go around for a few days cleaning it. What is wrong with these humans

Darling Pippa,
Thanks for dreaming of us. We love the pictures of you when you're dreaming but we don't like the pictures where you have no tail.

Be nice to Mistress or she'll ban you from the kitchen like our momma does wehn she is in a funk.

Belly rubs and kisses,
Tasha and Eva

Well Pippa, my Jeannie now has tears cascading down her face.....and she is far too darn old to cope with tears and a face. When she was young, with the complexion of a velveteen rabbit, she could carry the disguise of tears away. But your sad story just made her weep.

I am so glad you found a good and loving home, I was a rescue pup too, although probably not in as traumatic circumstances as you.

But I don't know about you, but "I always knew She Would Arrive and Choose Me!"

I always knew I would be "hers". My Jeannie said when she saw me, "she knew I would be hers until the End of Time"......(mind you, we have to allow for Drama Queen Time when my Jeannie speaks!) but her heart was in the darn right place that day.

thank you Pippa for the lovely Post.

love and licks, Marvin xxxxxd

Hey Pippa,

For the first time, I read your story, Part 1, Part 2, and More about You. I'm glad I did because, even though it made me very sad to think about those awful days when you were on the streets, it helped me understand you better. I'm so happy you and master and mistress all live together in what -- today at least -- is a VERY CLEAN HOUSE!!!

Woofs, Pippa.

Darling Pippa,
The Momma was at work when we had her comment before and she can't spend a lot of time on the net(I think she has a microchip). We usually don't let her read or watch really sad things but because it was your story we let her read it to us again. Your story made the Momma cry. Please tell Mistress and Master "thank you" from us for making it a happy ending.

More kisses,
Tasha and Eva

Woo handsome!
If you are running an Apple, you probably weren't able to open our card either, if you even got it, some pups didn't. Mama's been learning a new card maker program & it hasn't been really user friendly, at least not to our user. If you'll please send your snail mail address to us at hans822 at bellsouth dot net we'll put one in the mail to you. We don't mind getting an ecard from you, but would hate to think you couldn't get the card from us.
What a scary story you have, we're so glad you found m&m to take care of you and give you a good home. You probably should be nicer to Mistress, it sounds like she worked hard to care for you and nurse you back to health and the oh so handsome guy you are today!
Christmas kisses,
Bama, Mikki & the boys

Hi-Woo Pippa,
I'm glad you found yur furever family, too. I was a stray & picked up by animal control in a city 8 hrs. from where I now live. A nice Siberian Husky rescue, Mapaw, took me out of there & put me in foster care with Guinness' & Shiloh's mommy & daddy. My mommy & daddy drove 4 hrs. to come & adopt me. They gave me Juneau in June as a gift for company (Oh, what a gift!! Nah, he's really OK - did I say that?!?!) I want to thank you for yur support for our mommy. She's feeling much better now & believes that maybe she is better off that the mean lady boss didn't make an offer. She is moving on & applying for other jobs. She took pictures of us playing in the snow yesterday. Hopefully, she'll be able to post them very soon.
Til next time,
-Cosmos-

Oh Pippa, I don't believe that you don't love your mistress. I think you love her lots, but just like to play the toughie. I bet you'd be happy to have her tickle your toes too. I'm curious about the cleaning. I actually wouldn't mind if my ma would do that once in a while.

I hate it when my Mum does that cleaning stuff. I make sure and let her know too! You may not know this, but Mum wonders sometimes if Gracie loves her. But then she'll be working on the computer and see Gracie gazing at Mum loving for long periods of time - I think that's love. It's just different than I show it.

Thanks for stopping by during our bad dog hiatus! We're back!

Oh Pippa I was so worried about your tail in that first photo. Your last photo showed that it was okay. You look very comfy there.

My mom does that cleaning thing to and she gets out the vaccuum to get up my fluff.

Hmmm..my ma ape is fond of your mistress's cleaning philosophy. Ethel wanted me to tell you she is sorry for not coming by to comment and tell you how lovely you look, tail or no tail, because she has been feeling self-conscious about her bald patch. I told her you are a stand-up fellow and would love her in spite of her hideous deformity.

Dear Darling Pippa,

I was wondering, if your mistress is cleaning the house like a crazy-lady, does that mean that Pippadog gets cleaned too? I've never seen a pic of you getting a bath...thats a blessing, mind you..since my mom always seems to take photo evidence of me all wet & drippy....I hope she isn't disturbing your naps on the couch with her excessive cleaning....

Love & Licks,
Randi

Are Mom does lots of cleaning to and Louie and I just keep messing things up. Louie is still rearranging all the rugs in the house but I think we are training Mom not to worry about it.. Sometimes it is better to just spend time with us instead of doing that cleaning stuff....

We just wanted to add that we get fed at 6 PM not 6 AM. Mom is at work by 5:30. She like to beat the traffic..
