Keeping order
I have noticed the appearance of some little trouble-makers around my normal dog-walking route.
As you know, I am nice friendly Pippadog, even though Jacks, Narra, Tuchuck and Rousseau seem to think I was looking at this little pup like lunch.
But the other day we were just setting off and a ferocious Jack Russelly sort of thing came charging round the corner at me and decided to attack. Attack me! Nice friendly Pippa. Well that is, until something decides to attack me. I decided to give it some of its own medicine, but master wasn't impressed and held me off. He also made sure that my neck was a long way from the little monster so that it couldn't get hold of my neck.
Then the woman came round the corner, and master suggested it might be a Very Good Idea if she used a lead in future. Instead of letting the dog run riot attacking gentle giants. Quite right master, although I was trying to put him right when you interfered.
And yesterday, master and I were sitting chatting to some of our friends and another woman came up with a dog. It was on a lead. And it looked like some of my friends so I wasn't worried. Then it jumped up, as though it was going to bite my nose. I reacted very quickly. I lifted up a big Pippapaw and gave it a smart cuff around the head. Ha! Everyone laughed, and the woman told her dog, that was what it deserved for being naughty. Perhaps I am a boxer in disguise.
Now, speaking of boxers or rather boxes, I am embarrassed to say this but on Boxing Day mistress finally tried to do a photoshoot with the aim of getting e-cards to everyone for new year. As you can all see, nothing has come of it so far. This may of course be because master and I were not co-operating. I have passed on the Ao4 lessons to master and he is getting quite good. I am better of course. So here I am, not looking at the camera.
My purposeful walk. No time for silly photos.
Avoiding mistress. What a fine big cannon. And an even bigger boat behind.
Looking down the quay. Master looking down at me. What is mistress's shadow doing there?
Checking out the peeps walking past. Mistress is still determined to get on the picture with her silly shadow.
A leg shot. Very good mistress. Pure class.

Darling Pippa, mom still cannot get over your new soundtrack on your blog. You look terrific in your photos even though you are not cooperating. We need to retake those lessons because we help too much.
Way to tell those little doggies whatfor! Bacci is quite proud of you and would do likewise, as would I. We have a Jack who lives next door to us and he is very loud.
You really rocked that photo shoot, Pippa! Seriously, great job. Perhaps if your bipeds paid you in really, REALLY tasty treats they would get the shot they're after. Hmmm?

Storms
Darling Pippa,
Your soundtrack was talking about being "mad about the boy". The lyrics "On the silverscreen
He melts my foolish heart in every single scene" made me think about your movie career.

Peeee S. Spain looks pwetty!
Another graduate of the AO4 classes - welcome!!! We too don't like those little yappers who come charging out of nowhere and then their owners get all defensive about them not being on a leash and how bad we are for reacting to their little "darling".
OK, done now. Nice pics, Pippa.
Woos, the OP Pack
oh Pippa, Those little Jacks can be a feisty lots. I'm been attacked by more than one in my time. In my younger days, I used to just flip them. Now, I'm less kind. hmmmm. Seems we have yet something else in common. That and our sexy leggy legs.

Woo Woo and HaRoooo Pippa!
Good thing youse didn't get hurt. Those wittle dogs can be worse dan da bigger ones. Their humans think dey is cute when dey git nasty and stand up to bigger dogs. Of course we knows better.
Good work on da photo op. Maw still finds a way to git us to look at her.
Husky kisses and Happy New Year,

You did a great job of turning away from the camera. I try to do that all the time, but the girl has treats. Yummy tempting treats. It's so hard to not look at them.

Some people are so difficult to work with.
BTW, I have you request to join my kingdom under review...

Darling Pippa,
Between your adept handling of offensive mongrels and your lithesome legs, I'm a fan all over again!
And have I mentioned lately how handsome you look?

Pippa,
Great photo shoot. But, we are most impressed with your restraint. Journey feels your pain! Why can't those little dogs behave?

Sounds like you're pretty good at protecting yourself. I am too lol.
Oooh the photos are great. The weather there looks nice and sunny.

Those dogs sound mean. I hope they stay away from you.

You need to teach those little pests not to mess with you Pippa. They will know better next time and have much better manners..
We love the cannon. Dad likes that kind of stuff...

Pippa,
Nice pictures! Don't be so hard on Mistress! At times I can be an attack dawg. I don't like it at all when anything (canine, feline, human, etc) gets in my face. Keep in mind, I'm quite small so I need to be ferocious to defend myself!
Pedro
Pippa! Happee New Year! oh and you look pawsome from all angles! we still got something weird living in our computee box but at least it now lets us visit and we can see more things on all the bloggies so something is better then well you know

Oh, Pippa-
An unprovoked assault by a little terrier AND more misplaced mistress photos? What a day you had. We're glad to see you weathered it with your usual grace.
Pippa is gorgeous, and I love this blog! I'll be back often to catch up on Pippa's latest adventures.
Gosh Pippa, I can't believe that dog tried to attack you!! Good thing your master was there...
Good job on the photos! Heehee..
Pippadog,
After finishing my travelogue, I finally had some time to see what you were up to -- and admire your handsome self.
As I may be in confinement next week on the 14th, please acccept my early Happy Gotcha Day wishes. What a lucky day for master and mistress that you took them under your paw!!!
Wirey woofs,
Jake and just Harry
You did a great job looking away from the camera. I do that too, and quite often.
Rusty
You know, if Pippa like squeaky toys, all you have to do is wait till she chews one up (although I'm sure that a good Pippadog like her wouldn't do such a thing). Anyway, if you get the squeaker out of the toy, sometimes it catches the dog's attention and will make them look at the camera!
Anna Marie
Hello there, thank you for stopping by to see me. I on the other hand love the camera when ever mom gets it I start posing, hehe
You are funny turning away from the camera, kinda like you are trying to avoid the pawpawrazzi!
--JB
It's good to leave your audience begging for more sometimes. Good work on the photo avoidance. J x
Stay by that cannon and you can keep away the meanie pants Jack Russelly sort of thing!
Hello Pippa,
How have you been? We have been remiss and not been blogging regularly. We also missed sending out our Christmas cards after Mom promised. We did take some pictures but they were quite awful and Mom couldn't bring herself to use them. Perhaps we can get some Happy New Year cards out to everyone and be forgiven for our bad behavior.
Speaking of bad behavior, we hope we are always well behaved around you. We would hate for you to cuff us around the head. Mom says we aren't always very well behaved so it would be a challenge for us. We guess it is good you are across the ocean even if we do miss the opportunity to see you.
Roxie, Sammy & Andy
So how does the not facing the camera bit relate to your movie, Pippa?
Happy New Year Pippa!!!
Hahaha.... you made us laugh! :) Good work to ignore your mistress's camera completely!
Momo & Pinot
Hi Pippa! I'm Fred, and I just wanted to stop by your blog and say hello!
May I say that you are one tough (but very funny) lady! Happy New Year!
