Early morning chit-chat
I soooo love to be perky in the morning.
Especially nice and early.
Today was good. Mistress finished her expensive bottle of fizzy water and put it in the rubbish bin at 5.45.
So I ran in to see master and told him to get up.
I normally lie down patiently by the side of the bed just to make sure he is actually getting up.
And have a few licks. Check everything out.
Then I run in and out again. (Too fast for mistress to take a piccy).
Then we all yawn together.
Master goes aaaahhhhhh. And I go hoowwuuuarrrugh. Much better don't you think?
Then I go check him out in the bathroom.
And then I round him up. With a fine twirl of the tail.
With a few more hoowwuuuarrrughs.
By the time he is finally dressed, I am running round so fast and chattering away. Far too fast for mistress to take my pic.
And we are off. Out of the door. On the early morning cat hunt. I mean walk.

Pippa...sounds like you're an early birdy just like me! I got my mom up at 5am this morning LOL!
Lots of Licks, Ruby
Oh, 5am is really early. We wake up at 6am and we don't care that it is Saturday. We just want to go outside and then run back to the bedroom and get in Mom's bed. We get to sleep with her for about an hour before it is time to get up. It's probably a good idea to keep an eye on master. You never know when someone might try to go back to bed after you have woken them up.

Lordy am I GLAD our lot are couch potatoes and do not like to get up in the morning!
Hi, Pippa.
I don't like to wake up early on weekdays but its another story on saturday and sunday. I yawn a lot in my moms face until she gets up!
Hope you get lots of walkies.
Have a nice weekend

Hola Pippa,
Estas muy ocupado en la manana!
Mi humano se levanta muy tarde esta manana. But I did not mind, I slept in with her and did a bit of rabbit chasing.

A pups work is never done! Got to keep those humans on task every minute. They are so easily distracted. Good job Pippa! Belly Rubs, Tasha & Eva
I cat hunt too. My neighbourhood is in desperate need of a cull.
I'm an early bird, too. It's important to get that first walk in so you can get down to the business of the day--napping.
wally.
ps. I almost caught a goddamn cat the other day. If I hadn't been on leash....
You are a morning person are' nt you ?I get out of my crate at 7.00,go pee and get back in bed till I hear the tinkle of breakfast crockery being set in the sink !That is about 8.30!!
We can only WISH our humans would get their lazy butts out of bed at 5 am. They moan & groan about getting up at 7!

Querido Pippa,
Gunther se levanta, muy temprano tambien, entre las 4 y 5 am,,, (really early!!)trajo esas costumbres desde Lima,, pero es tan dulce y bueno, que siempre espera tranquilo a que uno de nosotros dos, se levante!!
Nice day for Kate and for you!!
Wow! You could come to OUR house... cuz dogmom wasn't an early riser until Opie and me came to live with her! Opie's even more of an early bird (ahem, dog) than me! Dogmom says she hasn't had to use her alarm clock since he moved in 6 years ago... up at 5:00 every morning!
(Weekends too! :( )
Gomer
How many cats did you catch then Pippa? I hope you at least gave them a few heart attacks. :D
