A new mistress?
Official complaints
1 Mistress does not do my breakfast early enough.
2 When she has her breakfast she does not give me enough mushrooms. Sometimes she does not give me any. I only get measly buttered toast.
3 She has been to Gibtel but we are still not on broadband. So she can't do my blog during the week.
4 She is a rubbish compañera. There is a bit of chat, but not much else.
5 She pulls my fur out. Why? It falls out anyway, or I pull it out and then she can sweep it up.
6 She doesn't cook enough food for them at night to leave for tasties for me for my breakfast.
7 She has not visited my friends' blogs at the weekend.
Good points
1 She doesn't leave me during the day to get bored.
2 She has started to do nice therapeutic rubbings on my ears which are nice, but they are not much, in the scheme of things.
So I am in the market for a new mistress. Any suggestions pals? Are there better models? Where do I find them?
And I might have a problem convincing master. He seems to think mistress is OK.
I feel a new poll coming on. And thank you to all of those four of you who said she was a wimp regarding cockroaches because she is. Just that the poll didn't quite reflect that.

Humans are generally rubbish, my mum is just plain MEAN. I think yours is luffly by comparison.
I mean - my mum does not worship the ground on which I walk. Unlike my dad who understands wolfies and lets me boof him.
I'd stick with your mistress, mine is useless. In fact - if you are trading her in can I have her please?

Yeah, the humans just don't understand. It's not really their fault, though, for being so dumb and useless. We can't all be dogs. And your mistress doesn't seem so bad in the grand scheme of things. Mine isn't so bad but has the same problems (breakfast at 5 a.m. is still too late, pulls out tufts of fur, etc.). But I tolerate her for the ear scratching and the belly rubbing. And the meatables.

You are so FETCHING & HANDSOME & ALLURING in that pic...WHAT A HEARTBREAKER! *Sigh* About the paws...can your mistress fold you paws out & then she can take a pic? That would be great to see..but you are one up on me..I can't flip them inward...only outward...I guess I'll be the preview act & you'll be the main attraction!

My ∆≈ has been goofin' offs bloggin'wise a lot latelys. He been doin' that Flickrs thingy. He is yellin' a lot of French too.
I usually don't eats until I herd my peeps into the fallin' water cabinet. When 1,2 1,2 one peep is cleanin', I scarf my foods down. Then I round up the other, unless they get cleans together, YUCKS!, and scarf some mores.
∆≈ thinks your mistress is groovys and you should keep her, even if she is a rubbish compañera. I bark, any peep that rubs me is cooools! Arf! Arf! But it could be funs just lookin' for a new mistress. All those treats and belly rubs and stuffs. Maybe even more toasts!
Guess I better votes. Hmmm... 'To looks or not to looks, that is...'

I gotta say sounds like you got it pretty good there - I only get kibbles and the occassional treat.
Here's an idea - rather than getting rid of the current mistress - why not just get a second one ?? ;)

Pippa, we fear all mistresses are like yours. Our mom tries to sleep late and then feeds us late. And we are not allowed to bark too much and we have to go outside even when it is raining. If you find a good one to replace the one you have, find out where she was trained so we can look for a new one too.

Oh, darling Pippa. Don't give up on her. Mommies are very hard to find. Shiloh remembers the days when he was wandering all alone on the streets and he didn't have anyone to be with him. He still thinks mom could put those sticks she's always playing with down and play with us more, but heck, she's on;ly human.
