Nicknames (2)

Now I am tagged by Guinness and Shiloh to say what nicknames I have for mistress.

First though, to those who commented on the monkey nickname. It was master who called me monkey first. He called me "naughty little monkey".

I have no idea why. I am not naughty (well, not very naughty, or very often). I am definitely not little - I don't know if I ever was, I suppose I must have been. And as I said before I am not a monkey.

Now they don't even bother with the "naughty little". I just get monkey. Huh.

As you know I call mistress Meany Mistress and Misery Mistress. Meany when she doesn't give me sufficient extra breakfast rations, and Misery when she won't let me chase cats.

Of course since I pulled her over she has not taken me out again, so I don't get much chance to call her Misery any more. Master is a bit of a Misery too though because he doesn't seem to want to go on the cat hunts either.

But normally I call master Kind Master. He always speaks to me nicely, shares so much toast with me, gives me lots of strokes and pats and tickly toes, he is wonderful really so I shan't give him any nasty nicknames.

Now what else shall we call mistress? Wimp of course. We know she is Wimp Mistress after the cockroach in the bath incident. In fact she was home only the other weekend staggering around barefoot without her contact lenses. The next morning when she had put them in, she noticed a cockroach (it was dead so hardly a problem) lying in the bedroom doorway.

Her worry was whether or not in her half-blind state the previous evening, had she walked on it or not? You would have thought she would have noticed it go crunch wouldn't you? Anyway, apparently she felt sick even thinking about walking on it barefoot so she had to sit down before she vacuumed it up. I might start calling her Roach, hehe.

Idle Mistress naturally. She is not keen on kennelflatwork, she prefers messing around on my Appletop. Furpuller. She thinks pulling my fur out before it drops out, or before I pull it out, is a preventative measure to avoid doing the kennelflatwork and sweeping it up.

I will think of some more when she goes back to Spain. Perhaps master will have some good ideas.

Mistress stepping or should I say not knowing if she stepped on a cockroach is too funny!!!

I like all your names for her, but remember she is a toast provider so go easy!

Lots of Licks, Ruby

Hi Pippa...
How are you...? Good I hope. Sorry for not stopping by in ages. My mommy was busy fighting the stupid dog catching competition that she just didn't let me use the computer!

It's sort of over now, the stupid council has announced that it's over. But Mommy and her friends are not convinced and they are still fighting hard to make sure that the council keeps their word!

In the mean time, my Mommy is a wimp too... she hates Roaches, and the minute she sees one, she screams Clleeeeeeeeeeeoooooooooooooo, get it, get it!!! So I have to catch it for her and kill it. Then I get lots of cuddles and snacks :)

Bye for now Pippa
Hugs

pippa! i've described you as 'un pastor' because i think it sounds really fancy! my auntie van speaks a little spanish so i'm going to tell her i have an un pastor friend and see if she is smart enough to know what it means. :) but i'm a little confused now. why is miss umm... *looks left and right* wimp going back to spain when she already is there? and do the feet really begin to itch at 40? (this i am asking for my resident wimp because she gets there in a couple of years too.)

loves,

Pippa! so nice to see your many blogs since we have read last. We love the nicknames - but aren't you a bit hard on Mistress? Not everyone can give you toast and pats on the head.

Our Dad doesn't like bugs in the house. He makes them go outside, unless they are creepy - in which case he becomes a murderer! And we have Cicada bug here. Do you have them? They sleep in the ground and then come out in the summer. They are not too bad. But then, there's the 17-year Cicada. They sleep for 17 years and then they all come out to eat, find a mate, lay hundreds of eggs and then die off. Last time that happened, there was millions of them. Rocky tried to eat them in flight as they buzzed past. Ick! Yucky bugs!

Anyway, we like the post on what type of auto you would be. I think you are very Landy-like. Big, a bit lanky, but a classic.

By the way, although I agree you are not a monkey - Rocky is not a Goose. Dad calls Rocky "Silly Goose" a lot. And Dad calls me "Sweetie Pie". Hey! I'm not a pie! So I understand your not a monkey. Thanks for posting a picture of Princey. I don't think I have seen him before! Don't worry, your still my cutie! Love Mati

Love the eyes, Pippa !!! What a great photograph !!!

Louie and I like any bugs as long as they are moving, but the Cicada bugs like Rockford mentioned are by far the most tasty !!!

Pippa, Roa** story is funny!! I was giggling hard!! :D
Your mistress might have stepped on it?? Scary!! I can't type this word now coz it makes my mom sick. hehehe If she doesn't wear contact lenses, same thing might happen to her. I know she's happy that here's too cold for roa***** to survive.

oh Pippa.. don't worry..

I get the monkey name too.. plus rabbit and guinea pig..

my pawrents often wondered if they have a dog or a vegetarian rabbit..

my mom hates roaches too.. good thing in our home.. dad keeps it soo clean there are no roaches.. even if there are.. it would be really tiny.

my pawrents were saying back in their hometown the roaches are humongous and they are FLYING! OMD.. I'm sure mom would be screaming by then...

Hi Pippa

How are you? Just thought I'd stop by to say hello... cause I suspect I might be off the computer for a bit again...

Mommy is in a foul mood again cause some people brutally killed some dogs very near our house. So she's starting a new campaign...

Sigh... don't know what is wrong with the people in this country... Please think of us okay Pippa?
